Collection of Farm Plastics: Discussion
2:00 am
Mr. Liam Moloney:
To clarify that, we probably have a little less than 24,000 tonnes in yards. That is plastic has been collected. It is in our contractors' yards. We are recycling it as we go. Our bring centres are over now. By the time the bring centres start next April or May again, that should be down to no more than 7,000 or 8,000 tonnes. We want to keep a certain amount in the yards to honour our recycling agreements. That plastic is not a problem; we know it is there. We are prepared and have made arrangements for it to be recycled over the coming months.
