Obviously, as the Joint Committee on Defence and National Security, we need to be confident in respect of ensuring we have a national maritime security strategy that is fit for purpose. What does Dr. Stanley think is the best role this committee can play in supporting the Department’s work and enabling co-operation to happen as quickly as possible? I have the concern that this just seems to have started quite recently when one would think it should have started years ago.
