I remind everyone to ensure mobile telephones are switched off. It is important as it causes serious problems for broadcasting, editorial and sound staff. Today, members will be briefed by the Minister of State at the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, Deputy Dara Murphy, on Ireland's position on the agenda items of the forthcoming General Affairs Council meeting scheduled for 19 May. The Minister of State will also briefly outline to members the European Commission's country-specific recommendations for Ireland which were published yesterday as part of the European Semester. The committee will have a further opportunity to discuss these with the Minister of State in detail at later meetings.

I propose the committee go into private session to agree minutes, etc. Is that agreed? Agreed.
