As Minister of Transport, I have responsibility for policy and overall funding of public transport. The National Transport Authority (NTA) has responsibility for the planning and development of public transport infrastructure within the Greater Dublin Area (GDA) including, in consultation with Iarnród Éireann, related matters for the DART service.
