Pobal are a non- commercial agency operating under the aegis of the Department of Rural and Community Development and the Gaeltacht and engaged by DCDE under the terms of a service level agreement (SLA). As such, Pobal are responsible for ensuring that staffing and skill levels are adequate to achieve the objectives of this Agreement and are solely responsible for any and all personnel and all costs arising from the employment of the Company’s personnel.
The Department strongly encourages all sides to utilise the industrial relations framework and the Workplace Relations Commission to achieve a resolution in the best interests of children and families.
