As previously advised the WALK programme is currently engaging with and delivering their existing Peer Ability programme in 11 schools based in Louth, Dublin, Westmeath, Cavan, and Cork.

The programme is funded through the Dormant Accounts Fund. An application under the DAF 26 has been submitted to the Department of Rural and Community Development and the Gaeltacht who operate the Dormant Accounts Fund to continue this pilot in 2026. My Department awaits a decision on the application.
