The continued increase in bTB disease levels in recent years has resulted in significant additional work in the administration of the bTB programme for my Department. There has been recently been an increase in the volume of bTB Compensation payments that resulted in a temporary backlog in payments. This backlog has now been cleared and payments under the On Farm Market Valuation scheme issued in relation to the herd referred to on 17th November 2025. It may take a number of days for the payment to reach the bank account of the person referred to.
