I am very supportive of the process of integration which reflects much of what is already happening at club level and will further ensure parity of treatment for all players within the Gaelic Games family, which is the subject of the question.

I understand that good progress is being made on the integration process under the leadership of Mary McAleese and the Steering Group on Integration. I hope that full integration will be achieved by the stated target of 2027 and that it will deliver a unified National Governing Body for Gaelic Games that all feel welcome in.

Ultimately, however, the Gaelic Games organisations are independent and autonomous and the issue of integration is fundamentally one for the organisations themselves and their members.
