The ICOB and Power Up grant schemes paid out over €400 million to SMEs across the country in 2024. These grant schemes closed for applications in 2024, however, the ICOB and Power Up Reclassification Appeals process opened in July 2025 for businesses who had misclassified their businesses sector when initially applying for the grants. This appeals process is now closed and all payments have been made by Local Authorities to eligible businesses.
