My Department's responsibility under Pillar Two of the National Human Rights Strategy for Disabled People centres on employer engagement. It is a priority for my Department is to establish a ministerial-led forum that will provide a platform for a more structured engagement with employers on disability and to raise awareness of the various supports that are available to employers in this regard.

Income supports in relation to the employment of disabled people are a matter for my colleague, the Minister for Social Protection.

The First Programme Plan of Actions 2025 -2026 is currently being developed. It will set out how the key priority actions under each commitment will be delivered on, by whom, the timeframe for delivery, and relevant Key Performance Indicators. Reporting or updating on Programme Plans will be carried out every six months.
