325. To ask the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport the total number of road safety incidents or accidents involving Ukrainian-registered vehicles since February 2022; whether non-compliance with NCT, tax, or insurance was a factor in any such incidents; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The Road Safety Authority (RSA) has a statutory remit to report on fatal, serious and minor injury collisions on public roads. The RSA receives both coronial data and collision data from An Garda Síochána for this purpose and produces official statistics to help develop evidence-based road safety interventions.

Given the RSA's responsibility in this matter, I have referred the Deputy's question to the Authority for direct reply. I would ask the Deputy to contact my office if a response has not been received within ten days.
