As Minister of State for International & Road Transport, Logistics, Rail & Ports, I wish to advise that the next Technical Committee on Motor Vehicles Interdepartmental Working Group, which is chaired by this department, will take place on 26 November 2025.

The Revenue Commissioners will attend and have asked for the issue of registration plates to be discussed. The Revenue Commissioners will be in a position to give an update on discussions once the meeting has taken place.
