I can advise the Deputy that prosecutions are a matter for the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) and as Minister I have no role in the operations of that Office, nor does my Department have statistics on prosecutions brought on the grounds referred to. Legislation in the field of immigration and other relevant areas is kept under ongoing review.
