My Department was re-configured as the Department of Culture, Communications and Sport at the beginning of June 2025.
I am advised that there were no judicial reviews of planning decisions involving the current functions under the remit of my Department in the period since the establishment of the former Department of Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media in September 2020 to date in 2025.
In relation to bodies under the aegis of my Department, the details of legal costs incurred defending judicial reviews is an operational matter for the bodies themselves.
