I am informed by Revenue that the total amount of Capital Acquisitions Tax received in 2024 (comprising gift tax and inheritance tax) was €849.7 million. The amounts broken down by Group thresholds for 2024 are shown below:

Inheritance Tax

• Group A - €298.2m
• Group B - €338.9m
• Group C - €87.8m

• Group A - €91.8m
• Group B - €21.3m
• Group C - €11.6m
