As Minister for Transport, I have responsibility for policy and overall funding in relation to sustainable mobility, including the provision of funding to the National Transport Authority (NTA) in support of Transport for Ireland (TfI) public bike-sharing schemes in Limerick, Cork, Galway and Waterford.

Details related to the operation of these schemes, including the current re-tendering process for their expansion as 'Shared Micromobility Schemes', are a matter for the NTA. Accordingly, I have referred your question to the NTA for a more detailed response. If you do not receive a reply within 10 working days, please contact my private office.
