To ask the Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment further to Parliamentary Question No. 53 of 25 September 2025, for further information on the number of businesses in Cork city and Cork county that submitted appeals for the increased cost of business grand and the power up grant due to being miscategorised; if all payments have been made; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The ICOB and Power Up schemes paid out over €400 million to SMEs across the country in 2024. The ICOB Power Up Reclassification Appeals process opened in July this year for misclassified businesses.

252 businesses made an appeal under the reclassification appeals process in Cork City. 135 businesses were eligible to the value of €844,000.

340 businesses made an appeal under the reclassification appeals process in Cork County. 151 businesses were eligible to the value of €864,000.

All eligible businesses have received payment and the scheme is now closed.
