IDA has a sanctioned headcount of 411, which will play a crucial role in achieving the agency’s objectives under its current strategy, Adapt Intelligently, A Strategy for Sustainable Growth and Innovation 2025 -29. As of 31st October 2025, IDA was carrying 29 vacancies, which are across several divisions, including overseas markets.

The table below sets out the 29 vacancies, including the job title for each vacancy, the sanctioned full-time equivalent (FTE), the estimated annual cost of filling each position, and the expected timeline for recruitment completion.

IDA is required to fill all posts at the minimum of the scale, with the associated costs outlined below. However, IDA’s recruitment process mandates that all positions are advertised internally before advertising externally, with exception to Grade 1 positions which are only advertised externally. In cases where an internal candidate is appointed, the position may be filled at a higher point on the scale.
