Following the conclusion of a public procurement procedure, the Office of Public Works has identified a preferred bidder to construct the new Garda Station in Macroom.

In accordance with the requirements of the Infrastructure Guidelines, approval of the Final Business Case is now required from the Department of Justice, Home Affairs and Migration.

Once this approval is in place and confirmed by An Garda Síochána to the Office of Public Works the contract will be awarded, and construction will commence.
