It is the intention of An Garda Síochána to construct a new Divisional Headquarters for the DMR North Division, which will include an enhanced custody suite serving the DMR and a range of specialist training facilities for An Garda Síochána personnel.

A number of potential sites are currently under consideration, and engagement has taken place with third parties in relation to site valuations.

Once a preferred site has been identified, the Office of Public Works (OPW) will seek to acquire the property. Following the completion of the acquisition process, the OPW, in conjunction with An Garda Síochána, will be in a position to progress the project to the next stage of development.
