To ask the Minister for Health further to Parliamentary Question No. 845 of 30 September 2025, whether individuals whose applications for HSE funding for gender affirmation surgery abroad have been refused are provided with written reasons for the decision; and if they are informed of their right to appeal. As this is a service matter, I have asked the Health Service Executive to respond to the Deputy directly, as soon as possible.
