I am advised by the Social Welfare Appeals Office that an appeal was received for the person concerned on 28th October 2025 and has now been finalised. An Appeals Officer, having fully considered all of the available evidence, has decided to disallow the appeal of the person concerned by way of a summary decision. The available evidence failed to establish that the person concerned is substantially restricted in undertaking employment which would otherwise be suitable with reference to their age, experience and qualifications, as a result of their certified medical condition.

The person concerned will be notified of the Appeals Officer’s decision in the coming days.
