My Department publishes the Social Housing Construction Status Report (CSR), which provides details of social housing developments, their location and their funding programme that have been completed, are under construction or are progressing through the various stages of the design and tender processes. The most recent publication was for Quarter 2 2025. The Q2 2025 CSR and all previous versions of the CSR are available on the Department’s website at the following link: www.gov.ie/en/department-of-housing-local-government-and-heritage/collections/social-housing-construction-projects-status-reports/

A version of the CSR file can also be downloaded for analysis by local authority, Approved Housing Body etc. at this link: www.opendata.housing.gov.ie/dataset/social-housing-construction-status-report-q2-2025

In relation to affordable housing, since the launch of Housing for All, to the end of Q2 2025, nearly 16,900 affordable housing solutions have been delivered via Approved Housing Bodies, Local Authorities, the Land Development Agency, through the First Home Scheme, the Cost Rental Tenant-in-Situ Scheme and the Vacant Property Refurbishment Grant, including over 2,300 in Cork City and Cork County.

To date, approval has been given for 10 projects in Cork City under the Affordable Housing Fund to support the delivery of 465 affordable purchase homes, with 294 of these homes already delivered.

In Cork County, approval for 17 Affordable Housing Fund supported projects has been given, with 287 already delivered.

In relation to Cost rental, 12 Approved Housing Bodies projects have been approved under the Cost Rental Equity Loan scheme in Cork City and Cork County combined. These 12 projects have an anticipated delivery of 1,220 homes by the end of 2029, including 156 homes which have already been delivered.
