The Department of Children, Disability and Equality does not currently use Agentic AI in its projects and has not issued any contracts for its development, or undertaken software pilots, for its use in internal or public facing services.

The Department is in the process of developing internal policies, guidance for staff, and governance for the use of AI technologies.
