My Department operates competitive tendering as standard procedure in order to achieve best value for money. Procurement takes place in the context of Directive 2014/24/EU and is supported by Procurement Guidelines published by the Office of Government Procurement (OGP).

The Department participates fully in on-going initiatives of the Office of Government Procurement (OGP) focusing especially on achieving procurement savings, including the use of shared framework agreements for the provision of different categories of supplies and services.

My Department publishes details of procurement-related payments over €20,000, on a quarterly basis in arrears on gov.ie: . Reports are available from 2012 onwards.

It is not otherwise possible to provide the information the Deputy has requested in the time provided. My Department will follow up directly with the Deputy with additional information.
