The Department of the Taoiseach does not use agentic AI in the delivery of its services or operations, and has no projects, contracts or pilots in place that make use of agentic AI. The Department is in the process of developing a strategy and governance structure on the use of AI, informed by the Guidelines for the Responsible Use of AI in the Public Service and by the National Cyber Security Centre guidance on Generative AI for Public Sector Bodies.
