Regarding this specific case, officials in my Department have confirmed that the company in question has received mentoring advice from LEO Tipperary and assistance in preparing their application for the Enterprise Ireland New Frontiers programme.
The LEOs are the first stop shop for every business in the country and provide a signposting service for all government supports available to the SME sector and their services are still available to help develop this business concept. LEO Tipperary business advisors are well versed in the wide range of supports available to small businesses and can provide information/referrals to other relevant bodies under agreed protocols e.g. Revenue, Micro Finance Ireland, Fáilte Ireland, LEADER, and Enterprise Ireland.
For more information on the supports available through the LEOs or any other Government bodies, I would encourage this business owner to visit the National Enterprise Hub (NEH).
The NEH is an all-of-government service, staffed by expertly trained advisors and is focused on helping businesses access a range of government supports. The hub brings together information and resources on over 250 government supports from 32 different Departments and State Agencies.
