An Garda Síochána has prepared a Preliminary Business Case for the acquisition of nine sites nationwide, including a site for a new Garda station at Carndonagh, County Donegal.

Consistent with the requirements of the Infrastructure Guidelines, an appraisal process will now be conducted to determine the suitability of each site.

Following the outcome of this appraisal process, and the subsequent project prioritisation by An Garda Síochána; the Office of Public Works will progress sourcing a suitable site for a new Garda station at Carndonagh, County Donegal.
