EU4Health

EU4Health is the EU’s largest health programme, with a budget of €4.4 billion. It aims to build stronger, more resilient health systems across Europe.

2026 Work Programme

The orientations and priorities for the 2026 Work Programme are currently under discussion between the Commission and the Member States within the configurations of the EU4Health Steering Group and Programme Committee.

2026 Work Programme

The orientations and priorities for the 2026 Work Programme are currently under discussion between the Commission and the Member States within the configurations of the Programme Committee.

Digital Europe Programme

The Digital Europe Programme supports EHDS and digital infrastructure for healthcare. On 09 October 2025, the European Commission published calls for projects to award EU funds worth a total of just over €204 million for projects boosting innovation in business digitalisation, digital skills, health, public and automotive sectors across Europe.

These calls include for example:
  • Six Key Destinations
  • a €22.5 million boost to support biomedical research and the roll out of personalised healthcare through the (), and
  • €14.4 million for the deployment of AI-based solutions in medical imaging.
