To ask the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine further to his commitment to strengthen pollution laws and introduce a coordinated incident response system after the mass fish mortality on the River Blackwater in August 2025, the legislative amendments he will bring forward, with timelines; the additional enforcement resources for the Sea-Fisheries Protection Authority, Inland Fisheries Ireland and local authorities; and the incident response protocol to be agreed with the EPA.
