Following Budget 2026, my Department will build upon existing initiatives in digital, green procurement, and centralised purchasing in support of transparency, sustainability, and efficiency.

My Department's procurement is carried out in accordance with public procurement policy and national and European Union law. The aim of these rules is to promote an open, competitive, and non-discriminatory public procurement regime which ultimately delivers the best value for money.

My officials are responsible for ensuring that the Department's public procurement function is discharged in line with the procurement rules and procedures, using OGP's centralised procurement arrangements where possible.
