I wish to advise that approval has issued to the School Authority in question under the Additional School Accommodation scheme for the provision of 2 Mainstream Classrooms, 1 Special Education Tuition, 2 Special Educational Needs Classrooms, 1 Central Activities room, 1 Skills room and 1 Office under the Departments Modular Accommodation Framework.

The project is being delivered under the Department’s Devolved SEN Reconfiguration and Modular Accommodation programme. The use of the Department's Modular Accommodation Framework assists in ensuring lead in periods for procurement of modular accommodation are minimised to the greatest extent possible.

The contractor is currently on site and the foundations are currently been poured. The Department is fully aware of the urgency in respect of this project and is committed to working with the school authority to keep it updated on overall project delivery and timelines.
