As outlined in PQ 48643/25 the Department sought further clarifications from the school in respect of their admission policy and waiting list. The school has advised that they are maintaining one main waiting list with the names of all applicants who did not receive a place in the school for the 2025/26 school year. The school has confirmed that the names on this main waiting list are maintained in accordance with the order of priority as set down by the school’s admission policy.
The school has also informed the Department that there is a smaller separate waiting list for pupils l who were unsuccessful in their application for a place for the 2025/26 school year, due to the maximum number of applicants being allocated a place. The school has confirmed that these applicants are also included on the main waiting list.
The school has also informed the Department that they will have one waiting list for the 2026/27 school year in line with their admission policy.
