To ask the Minister for Education and Skills further to Parliamentary Question No. 71 of 24 September 2025, if she will re-engage with Bus Éireann for clarification in relation to this route given the information provided in the reply is contrary to the information provided to parents by Bus Éireann (details supplied); and given some children are not receiving school transport on this route. I wish to advise the Deputy that further to the parliamentary question listed above, Bus Éireann has confirmed that the service referred to by the Deputy commenced on the 27 August 2025.

My department has requested that the Bus Éireann local office contact the family directly to confirm the GPS co-ordinates and pick up point. If the family has any further queries, they can contact officials in the School Transport Section of my Department, using the Customer Contact Form at cs.education.gov.ie/, where they will be happy to assist.
