To ask the Minister for Health if she is aware of the case of person (details supplied) diagnosed with B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukaemia, who is currently ineligible for CAR T-cell therapy due to the treatment being licensed in Ireland only for individuals under the age of 26; if she will clarify the basis for this age restriction; the reason Ireland differs from other jurisdictions in this regard; if urgent consideration will be given to approving access to this treatment in this specific case; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
