The National Enterprise Hub (NEH), which is operated by Enterprise Ireland on behalf of my Department, was launched in July 2024 to make it easier for SMEs to engage with government supports.

The NEH is an online resource providing details of all government supports for business. It has directly supported over 8,000 SMEs since its launch and has attracted over 220,000 active online users to its website. The NEH also provides a full-time dedicated phone line, connecting business owners with specialist advisors who can discuss potential grant options over the phone. The total cost of operating the NEH in its first year of operation was €1.58 million.

In line with Programme for Government commitments, there will be a continued focus on enabling faster and easier access to government supports, including through the utilisation of new technologies. The potential for further development of the NEH will be considered in this context. Budget allocations for the NEH for future years will be considered as part of the wider budget process.
