345. To ask the Minister for Public Expenditure and Reform if he and his Department will consider the small piece of land behind Lusk Garda Station for a community building which could house community groups (details supplied); and if he will make a statement on the matter. [51249/25]

I am advised by the Commissioners of Public Works (OPW) that the Garda station at Lusk Co. Dublin is an operational Garda station and the Office of Public Works has not been advised by An Garda Síochána that the property is surplus to their requirements.

The OPW is therefore not in a position to engage with any community groups to make the site available for community use.
