The School Transport Scheme is a significant operation managed by Bus Éireann on behalf of the Department of Education and Youth.

Bus Éireann has advised that all pupils residing in the Ballinagar area are eligible for school transport to Tullamore College. Bus Éireann has further confirmed that 34 pupils applied and paid on time for the current school year and that all have been issued with tickets.
