There is a major project for the school referred to by the Deputy which will provide a new extension to cater for 1,000 pupils plus Special Education Needs classes.

The project is at completion of Stage 2(b) of the architectural design process. Stage 2(b) involves detailed design, securing all statutory approvals and the preparation of tender documentation. Planning Permission was secured in January 2025.

My department has not received an application for repairs to prefabs however, officials from my department have been in contact with the patron of the school and it was confirmed that the patron is currently working on submitting an application which can be considered when received.
