243. To ask the Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment in view of the aggregated Government Departments Prompt Payment Returns covering the period from 2009 to 2022, which were previously available on the Department’s website, if he will confirm where these reports can now be accessed, as they can no longer easily be found online; and if they are no longer available, if he will arrange for them to be republished or otherwise made accessible to the public. In May 2009, Government Decision of 19 May 2009 put in place formal arrangements to reduce the payment period for Government Departments from 30 days to 15 calendar days.
Since 2009 my Department on a quarterly basis compiles a consolidated report in respect of the payment performance of all Government Departments.
These reports continue to be available on my Department’s website on a webpage dedicated to prompt payments returns.
