The role of the Financial Services and Pensions Ombudsman (FSPO) is to resolve complaints from consumers, including small businesses and other organisations, against financial service providers and pension providers. It provides an independent, fair, impartial, confidential and free service to resolve complaints.
The FSPO advises that it takes all of the circumstances of a complaint into consideration and undertakes to progress complaints as quickly as possible.
Furthermore, the FSPO advises that it is mindful of the personal circumstances of each complainant and any expressed vulnerability, whilst managing complaint progression in a manner that is fair to all complainants.
