To ask the Minister for Health the reason several persons whose routine mammograms are due, have not received appointments in Galway following the postponement of mammography services at Mayo University Hospital; the reason they have had to actively seek out these appointments themselves; the interim arrangements in place to ensure timely access to breast cancer screening for affected patients; and if she will make a statement on the matter. To ask the Minister for Health if she will consider the provision of dialysis services at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Longford, to reduce the need for elderly patients to travel up to three times per week to Tullamore Hospital for treatment; if her Department has carried out any assessment of the potential patient demand for such a service in County Longford; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
