297. To ask the Minister for Employment Affairs and Social Protection if matters regarding contributions for persons will be clarified (details supplied). [49450/25]

In relation to your questions above, I have instructed my officials to issue Contribution History Statements for both persons which should reach them in the coming days. Regarding the periods 1997- 2020 and whether the person concerned is entitled to credits, there is also an application for the Home Caring Scheme attached. Please have the person concerned complete and return this application to the Pension Caring Supports Team in Buncrana. My officials will review the application and award credits if applicable.

Please note that in order to be examined for entitlement to a state Pension Contributory a person must have at least 520 paid Contributions upon reaching Pension age.

I trust this satisfies the matter.
