Noise nuisance caused by aircraft, including drones, is specifically excluded from the scope of Section 108 of the Environmental Protection Agency Act, 1992 which allows complaints to be made to the District Court. There are no proposals to change environmental legislation in this regard.

As the Deputy may be aware, as Minister for Transport, I have previously provided details on the current regulation of drones (including with regard to noise) and the National Policy Framework for Unmanned Aircraft Systems.
