I can confirm that the payment reports referred to by the Deputy, for Q1-2025 and Q2-2025, are publicly accessible and published quarterly in arrears on the gov.ie website at the attached weblink: www.gov.ie/en/department-of-foreign-affairs/organisation-information/payments-over-20000/#2025

Every effort is made to ensure that these reports are published at the earliest available opportunity. I anticipate that the report for Q3-2025 will be published by the end of October 2025.

To ask the Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade if his Department will publish the procurement related payment reports (details supplied) in machine-readable formats such as CSV or excel on a quarterly basis, in line with open data standards; if not, the legal, technical, or operational constraints that prevent compliance with the requirement under S.I. No. 376/2021 to provide such documents in open, machine-readable formats for reuse; and the steps his Department has or plans to take to align its reporting practices with open data principles to improve accessibility, transparency, and re-use of this information by the public. The Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade publishes payment reports on a quarterly basis in machine-readable PDF format. These documents can be searched, copied and pasted using PDF tools and functionality.

There are no obvious legal, technical or operational constraints constraints to publishing these documents in CSV or Excel format. We will engage with the Department's ICT Unit in relation to any technical matters in relation to this.
