1479. To ask the Minister for Culture, Heritage and the Gaeltacht to provide details of Community Recognition Fund allocations and payments to County Carlow and County Kilkenny including project, location, approval date, amount approved, amount paid, and status; with totals per county in 2023 to date in 2025 (and any related phases), in tabular form. The Community Recognition Fund (CRF) allocated funding of €100 million across two rounds of funding in 2023 and 2024.
Under the 2023 iteration of the scheme, Carlow County Council were allocated €937,967 for 9 projects and associated administration costs; €634,221 of this has been drawn down. Kilkenny County Council were allocated €948,063 for 19 projects of which €742,063 has been drawn down.
Under the 2024 iteration of the scheme, Carlow County Council were allocated €1,171,621 for 11 projects and associated administration costs; €199,040 of this has been drawn down. Kilkenny County Council were allocated €867,987 for 7 projects of which €29,465 has been drawn down.
Details requested in respect of each project funded and associated local authority administration costs are in the attached tables. The project status is as advised by the local authority.
