The Outdoor Recreation Infrastructure Scheme (ORIS) provides funding for the development and enhancement of outdoor recreational infrastructure such as walking trails, cycleways, water-based recreation sites and mountain trails.

On August 14th, I announced funding of €8.7m for 221 projects under measure 1 and the project development measure of the 2024/25 Outdoor Recreation Infrastructure Scheme. I look forward to announcing the successful measure 2 and 3 projects in the near future.

The attached tables include the details required by the deputy for both Carlow and Kilkenny in respect of funding from 2020 to 2025.
