721. To ask the Minister for Employment Affairs and Social Protection the estimated cost of increasing weakly income threshold from €527 to €735 class employer PRSI threshold for entering the 11.15% rate. [49247/25]

The PRSI class A income threshold where the higher employer rate, currently at 11.15%, takes effect is €527 per week. The estimated cost in PRSI foregone in increasing the threshold to €735 per week is €311 million in a full year.
