To ask the Minister for Housing, Planning, and Local Government further to Parliamentary Question No. 1138 of 8 September 2025, if a reply will issue specifically to the question, which was not answered in the reply and asked him to confirm that he has received a request from Leitrim County Council for funding to deal with historic structural issues around the unfinished housing estate (details supplied). I can confirm that my Department has received correspondence from Leitrim County Council requesting funding supports to deal with historic structural issues around an unfinished housing estate. My Department is currently examining the said correspondence and will respond in due course.

However, it remains the case that there is no longer a dedicated funding scheme for unfinished housing estates and it is in this context that I must frame my response, noting that s30 of the Planning and Development Act would also apply.
