My Department, as part of our internal Housing Economics Research Programme and as part of our joint research programme with the Economic and Social Research Institute (ESRI), have published a number of research papers on the topics of housing costs and affordability.
Housing Economics Research Papers published by my Department and in our joint research programme with the ESRI are available on our website at www.gov.ie/en/department-of-housing-local-government-and-heritage/collections/housing-economics-research-publications/
The ESRI has recently published a paper that examined the At Risk of Poverty Rates both before and after housing costs on a number of different factors including household type, housing tenure and children in household and age of youngest child. This research is part of their partnership with Community Foundation Ireland and is not part of the ESRI's programme with my Department.
